A Journey of Gratitude

A Journey of Gratitude I wish to share some great news for SIKAT! We recently received a generous donation of £100, from a good hearted man. He shared with us that he had been greatly moved to hear about the kindness of former Filipino President Manuel L. Queszon, who opened the door to 1,200 Jewish refugees during the Second World War and wanted to donate to the Filipinos. We were very touched and grateful that he chose our charity, SIKAT, to be the beneficiary of that donation. We are trilled that his kindess is making it possible for us to continue our project to improve the FKMHS facilities after Typhoon Nona hit in 2015. Unfortunately since then, two more typhoons have hit our area, one on 3rd December and one on Christmas Eve last year, making our work that much more challenging. This donation will make a big difference to the children and young adults of our Calingag community.
